BUKÓWKA is a village located in the valley of Bóbr river, in the district of Lubawka, in a former province Jelenia Góra, in the western part of the Middle Sudetes. Through the village leads red route ( main route in Sudety Mountains ), at which the summit of Zadzierna (with a hight of 724 m, -1, 5 km from our house) is located, with a view of all the Karkonosze Mountains, mountain range of Rudawy Janowickie and situated below Bukówka Lake. Lake Bukówka is one of the highest situated lakes in Poland. It is an excellent place for active rest while sunny ( but not only ) days.
In a 5 km distance is located wildlife park "Corvine Stone" in Lubawka, a borderline between Poland and Czech Republic and most beautiful Cistercian Monastery in Krzeszów - "pearl of baroque" - is only 10 km from Bukówka. Neighbourhoods of Lubawka City provide also numerous routes, including a net of bicycle routs, interlacing most beautiful grounds of Lubawka's Gate.
